Appeared in 19 matches, playing 58 games...recorded 89 kills, averaging 1.53 a game...recorded her first double-figure kill match against Louisiana-Monroe with 13 kills...recorded 10 kills in a victory over Southeastern Louisiana...ended the season with a career-best 14 kills in a victory over Nicholls State...recorded one of only two double-digit block games on the season with 10 block assists against Texas State...had seven block assists against ULM...had five matches with at least five blocks...delivered two service aces in the victory over Nicholls State in the finale.
2004 (Freshman)
Played in seven games for the Mavericks...totaled six kills...recorded first collegiate kill on Sept. 3 at Cansiuis College...had season-best three kills on 10 attempts in a victory over Louisiana-Monroe on Oct. 23...entertained fans as the author of "Dear Diary" featured on www.utamavs.com.
Arlington High School
Remained right at home after playing her prep ball at Arlington High...led her squad to a 35-9 record and the regional semifinals in 2003...team captain as a senior...earned the AHS Volleyball Committment Award and the 3-D Award as a senior...named all-district second team in 2003...a Wendy's National Heisman Nominee...earned all-state academic honors...member of the National Honor Society.
