Prior to UTA: A 2007 graduate of Arlington High School where she played third base on the softball team all four years... a four-time all-district first team selection... three-time Fort Worth Star Telegram Super Team... two-time 7-5A MVP, Dallas Morning News all-area and all-state first team... selected as the Fort Worth Star Telegram Newcomer of the Year as a freshman... as a senior played in the All-State All Star Game... hit .512 as a senior and 12 home runs.
