2007 Outdoor
Qualified for the NCAA regionals in the 400 meters with a 46.61 at the SLC Outdoor Championships... ran a 45.4 second split anchor leg on the SLC Champion 4x400-meter relay team that ran a 3:09.81... quartet of Byron Majors, Jarid Vaughan and Curtis Hoyle Jr. ran a season-best 3:09.67 at the Texas Relays... earned all SLC honors with a second-place finish in the 400 meters with a season-best 46.61... won the TCU Invitational with a 47.04 and finished second at the Tellez Invitational with a 48.54... named to the Capital OneSouthland Conference 2007 Commissioner's Spring Academic Honor Roll.
2007 Indoor
Earned all-SLC honors as third leg of 4x400-meter relay team that placed third at the SLC Indoor Championship... scored a point at the conference meet with eighth place in the 400 meters (50.61)... named to Capital One/Southland Conference 2007 Commissioner's Spring Academic Honor Roll.
Prior to UTA
Attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Fla., and competed on the Eagles' track and field team in 2004-05... named to National Dean's List four times between spring of 2005 and fall of 2006.
High School: Graduate of Wilford Woodruff Academy... was the 2004 Florida Class 4A state and Golden South champion in the 400 meters with personal-best time of 46.8... earned all-state honors as a junior with third-place finish (47.50)... has also run a 1:53.00 in the 800 meters as a sophomore in 2004... competed on varsity soccer team... maintained a 3.8 grade-point-average.
