As a Freshman (2006-07): Earned All-SLC second-team honors as the No. 6 single as a true freshman with a 14-9 overall record and 5-1 finish in league play... partnered with Daniel Omana to post an overall record of 9-10 and went 3-2 in conference matches... won 6-1 6-1 over Stuart Row of the No. 71 TCU team and 6-3 6-4 over No. 62 Central Florida's Danny Colon.
Prior to UTA: Was home schooled so he could dedicate more time to tennis... played ITF tournaments in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and Peru.
Personal: Born on Sept. 28, 1986 in San Felipe, Chile... son of Ana Maria Mancilla and Rolando Bienzobas... undecided on his major.
