2006-07 (Junior)
Epps emerged as top perimeter defender on squad during season... shot .434 (23 of 53) from 3-point range during conference play... averaged 10.6 points per game in league play... ranked sixth in the SLC in free throw pecentage at .802 (69 of 86)... led squad in assists 16 times in season... scored career high 23 points at Texas-San Antonio Jan. 22... had 12 double-figure scoring games.
2005-06 (Sophomore)
Appeared in all 30 games, while starting eight of them as a sophomore...Averaged 4.7 points and 2.5 rebounds per contest...Third on the team with 28 three-pointers made...Tallied a season-high 14 points in a road victory over Nicholls State...Registered three steals in only 13 minutes of action at Sam Houston State...Had 13 points, four rebounds and a season-high five rebounds in a victory over Lamar...Scored 12 points, pulled down a season-high six rebounds in the Mavericks' post-season berth clinching victory.
2004-05 (Freshman)
Emerged as one of the up-and-coming guards in the SLC after starting 10 of the final 15 games of the season ... Appeared in 28 games, starting 11 of them...Averaged 9.6 points per game in SLC play ... Made team-high six three-pointers at Sam Houston State ... Led squad in three-pointers made with 47 ... Ranked third in three-point field goals in SLC games played at 42.7% (35 of 82).
Prior to UTA
Epps averaged 12.6 points, 6.8 assists and 2.9 steals per game for a Lake Highlands squad that finished 23-10 and advanced to the Class 5A Region II semifinals... ranked the 39th best player in Texas according to Mike Kunstadt's Texas Basketball Review, Epps was named first-team all-District 9-5A and first-team all-city after ranking fourth in the Dallas area in assists... a three-year letterman and helped team advance to state semifinals as a junior... named the Fox 4 Sports - Chevy Truck MVP, the High School Edge Player of the Week and the 2003-04 Lake Highland H.S Team Spirit Award winner.
